I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home and gave my heart over to the Lord at an early age. It wasn’t until I was a teenager that I truly understood what it meant to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus. The summer after my junior year in high school, I accepted the call to full time ministry and began to pursue becoming a pastor to youth.
I have been a Youth Pastor and Student Ministry Director for 5 different local churches since 1998. I have Family Ministry Pastor experience in managing both children and student pastors. My pastoral experience, with each position, has been in both traditional and contemporary churches of various sizes. I have had the involvement in facilitating ministry growth, promoting leader development, and implementing team trainings throughout my ministry years. Participation in youth ministry cohorts to maintain accountability, establish support, and generate fresh ideas has been a key part of my development. I am currently serving as Student Pastor at New Passion Church in Augusta, GA and am the Missionary to Next Gen for the Augusta Association of Baptist Churches.
I have been married to my beautiful wife, Sarah White, since 1998. She is an integral part of my life and ministry. This new extension of ministry is just getting started, and we both believe God has used the previous years of ministry together to prepare us for this next chapter. We have three amazing (almost grown) children. Rachel and Abby attend Augusta University and our son, Ellis, is in high school at Augusta Christian. As a family, we have experienced years of ministry and service to the Lord together and are excited for what’s ahead.
